Whitney has a sweet, southern charm about her. She developed strong roots in agriculture, growing up in Oklahoma. Ask her a few question about her public policy work and her passion around food security and you’ll find yourself thinking, “This is a lady who gets it and knows how to make things happen.”
Whitney attended Vanderbilt University and graduated with a Masters of Education in Leadership and Organizational Performance. She completed her undergraduate work at Oklahoma State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Communications. Between degrees, Whitney started her career as an education specialist with the National FFA Organization. Whitney moved back to Oklahoma to be closer to family where she worked as the State Advocacy and Public Policy Director for the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. One of the biggest assets Whitney brings to Vivayic is her ability to listen, ask questions, and put a realistic plan in place for how to accomplish large projects. Her previous experience, education, and focus on organizational performance and behavior change make her a perfect fit to join Vivayic’s team as a Learning Designer with some of our key clients.
A self-proclaimed DIYer, you might spot Whitney in the shop transforming a piece of furniture purchased during a recent antiquing outing. There’s something therapeutic about the step-by-step process of sanding, priming, painting, and finishing an old piece into something new.
Whitney and her husband Cain are enjoying being newlyweds and exploring their new city, Chicago.
