LINCOLN, Neb. (May 27, 2026) – Meat Institute, the nation’s largest trade association for beef, pork, lamb, veal, and poultry processors, has named Vivayic as their official e-learning partner to advance food safety and workforce training across the industry.

In September 2025, Vivayic helped the Meat Institute successfully launch “Foundations of Listeria Control,” an online learning course currently with more than 2,000 meat industry employees enrolled from companies across the country. The training includes nine interactive modules and assessments to provide learners with a scientific understanding of controlling Listeria monocytogenes in meat processing environments. The training is intended for a variety of audiences: food safety, operations, management, and sanitation. The course, and future courses, are deployed using Cultivate, Vivayic’s learning platform service powered by Moodle Workplace — the most widely used learning management system in the world. Cultivate is designed for teams and companies that need a powerful but easy-to-use solution at scale.

Vivayic will dedicate an account team to work with the Membership & Experiences team in planning and delivering elearning courses that support the broader vision for member education. The team is already working on a Spanish version of the Foundations of Listeria Control, a course on the foundations of foreign materials control and prevention, and a three-year plan for developing additional courses that positively impact the performance of employees across member companies.
